IPSSSDR Runs New Course Through Jackson
January 5, 2004—Jackson, WY--The International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled
Dog Race (IPSSSDR) will run a new course from the Town Square to Snow
King on January 28 at 7:00 p.m. announced Race Director Frank Teasley.
For the first time in the race’s ten year history, the IPSSSDR will
depart at night, and will travel from the corner of Broadway and Cache
Streets, East on Broadway to Redmond, South on Redmond to West Cache
Creek Dr, then continue onto Snow King property to the corner of Snow
King Avenue and Cache. The race ends at the Snow King ball field.
Limited street access will be available on the race route from6:45 p.m.
to 8:30 p.m. with cars allowed to drive cautiously along the route.
Town crews will work diligently to remove the race course as quickly as
possible after the race. The public is invited to attend the Town
Council Meeting on Tuesday, January 18 at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Council
Chambers for comments on the route and limited road access to
accommodate the 2005 IPSSSDR. For questions, call 307-734-1163.
