9:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Vet check—open to the public to meet the teams
3:00- 5:00 p.m. – Pre-race headquarters The Wort Hotel
5:00 p.m. – festivities on the Town Square booths, giveaways, hot cocoa
6:00 p.m. – Storm Show Productions Video on Big Screen
6:30 p.m. – Mushers leave the Starting Gate
8:00 p.m. – Pedigree Party at Snow King, Fireworks and Torchlight Parade

Saturday, January 26, Travel to West Yellowstone, Mont.
5:00 p.m. – Meet the Mushers at Wild West Pizzeria on Madison Avenue, with live entertainment and a video slideshow from the 2012 IPSSSDR. 

Sunday, January 27, West Yellowstone, Mont.
9:00 a.m. – Watch the Race Start on Yellowstone Avenue intersection with Canyon Street.
1:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m – Watch the Race Finish at the Bear Gulch Trailhead, 10 miles north of Ashton, Idaho on Highway 47. Finish times are approximate. Race is Approx 56 miles

6:30 p.m. – Pot Luck Dinner at the Alpine Civic Center: Sunday January 27, 2013

Monday, January 28, Alpine, Wyo.
9:00 a.m. – Race starts next to the Dollar Store at 9:00am. Race course is approx 56 miles

Monday, January 28, Pinedale, Wyo.
6:00 p.m. Welcome Mushers Banquet at Sublette County Library, dinner, live music
155 South Tyler Avenue

Tuesday, January 29, Pinedale and Cora, Wyo.
10:00 a.m.  START – Upper Green Parking Area, Cora
FINISH Upper Green Parking Area, Cora. race course is approx 47 miles

Tuesday January 29, Lander, Wyo.
6:30 p.m. – Local sponsor Gannett Grill/Lander Brewing Company will host Meet the mushers, Live music by IPSSSDR traveling band Screen Door Porch will be performing later in the evening.

Wednesday, January 30, Lander, Wyo.
 

9:00 a.m. – Race will start at (option 1) Bruce's Bridge up Sinks Canyon or at the (option 2) Louis Lake parking lot up on South Pass. This leg is approx. 42 miles.

Wednesday, January 30, Big Piney/Marbleton, Wyo.
 

6:00 p.m. meet the Mushers Dinner at the Senior Center in Marbleton

Thursday, January 31, Big Piney/Marbleton, Wyo.
9:00 a.m. Race Starts at the Middle Piney Parking lot. race course is approx 44 miles

Thursday, January 31, Kemmerer, Wyo
6:00 p.m – Cocktail Reception at South Lincoln Training & Event Center
7:00 p.m. – Banquet

Friday, Feb 1, Kemmerer, Wyo.
9:00 a.m. – Race begins at Viva Naughton. race course is approx 50 miles
3:00 p.m. – Meet N Greet in Triangle Park

Friday, Feb 1, Mountain View, Wyo.
5:00-7 p.m. – Musher Mania! Mountain View Town Hall, dinner will be provided at no cost. Toboggan race. Relay for Life registration.

Saturday, February 2, Lyman, Wyo.
7 - 9 a.m. – Flapjack Frenzy at Heritage Barn Pancake breakfast at no charge.

Saturday, February 2, Bridger Valley to Evanston, Wyo.
10 a.m. – Race Start at Deadhorse Trailhead, south of Mountain View (follow signs) finishing at North Slope Road; 30 miles south of Evanston on the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway, Hwy 150. Uinta County, Wyo. **course goes into Utah
Race course is approx 45 miles

Saturday, February 2, North Slope Road Trailhead, 30 miles south of Evanston
2 p.m. – Junior Musher Raceat North Slope Road Trailhead (finish line)
ending at approximately 3 p.m.

Saturday, February 2, Evanston, Wyo.
6 p.m, – Closing Banquet Hosted by IPSSSDR, doors open 6 p.m. dinner @ 7:00 pm, The Machine Shop, Evanston, Open to the Public tickets are 17.00 adult and 10.00 child
