Community Center (Mushers Only).
5:30 PM Rotary Spaghetti Dinner and Mushers Banquet
at the Community Center Buena Vista Drive. Tickets can
be purchased that evening.
Rotary donated the musher meals and one handler dinner
per team. Thank you to the Rotarians!

Lander Race Lollypop Loop South Pass
9:00 AM 42 miles
Race starts at Lousi lake parking lot on HWY 28.
This is 29 miles from Lander. Please leave your dogs in the
car or at home. Parking is limited, so please carpool is possible.
The teams will take off in 3 min. intervals. They will race a
lolly pop loop approx. 45 miles. Returning back to the Louis
lake parking lot approx. 3 hours from start time. At the end of
this Lander leg mushers will be traveling to Pinedale.

Nestled against the foothills of the Wind River Mountains (Elevation: 5,357
feet) on the banks of the Popo Agie River, Lander is where Fremont County
history began. Lander saw the first white trappers in 1811, became a small
military post in 1869 and now borders the Wind River Indian Reservation.
