There are two Visitor Information Centers in town, both of which have friendly, courteous and informative staff to help the mushers and their families/friends make the most of their time in Park City. The locations are as follows:

Directions from Evanston, Wyoming, to the Race Start Area:
From Evanston take Interstate-80 west approximately 53 miles. Take Exit #146 to Heber/Provo for approximately 0.4 miles. Take a slight left at US-189/US 40 South, proceed for 3.5 miles. Take Exit #4 to Park City. Turn right at the bottom of the off-ramp, proceed for approximately 0.2 miles to the stop light. Turn right into the Quinn's Junction Sports Complex and follow signs to the Park City Ice Arena. Space in the PC Ice Arena parking lot will be reserved for musher vehicles only. All other vehicles must park in other parking lots. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Directions from the Race Start Area to The Prospector .
From the Race Start Area at Quinn's Junction, turn right onto Highway 248/Kearns Boulevard. Proceed on Kearns Boulevard for approximately 1.7 miles; make a left at the stop light at Comstock Drive. Proceed 0.2 miles to the stop sign; make a right onto Sidewinder Avenue. Proceed 0.2 miles to Gold Dust Lane (which changes names to Prospector Avenue).The Prospector is located at the corner of Sidewinder Avenue and Prospector Avenue (Gold Dust Lane) at 2200 Sidewinder Drive.
From The Prospector to Historic Main Street:
From The Prospector reception parking lot, turn left onto Prospector Avenue and proceed 0.3 miles to the stop sign at Bonanza Drive. Take a left onto Bonanza Drive and proceed approximately 0.4 miles to Deer Valley Drive (stop light). Take a left onto Deer Valley Drive and proceed 0.8 miles to Heber Avenue. Follow Heber Avenue as it bends to the right at the fork in the road and proceed approximately 150 feet to the intersection of Heber Avenue and Main Street. Turn right or left for paid parking on Historic Main Street. Free parking is available for four hours in the China Bridge parking structure adjacent to Main Street on Swede Alley.
