Another beautiful day in Jackson, Wyoming!
35 mushers and their dogs arrived in downtown Jackson bright and early this morning for the official vet check of all the dogs. The vets look over all the dogs very well and the microchip ensures that those same dogs are used during the race. Those dogs who were not microchipped previously were done so today. Several groups of elementary students braved the cold to check out the action. The race kicks off this evening, Friday Jan. 25, in downtown Jackson.
